ICHDL (ichdl.com, the "Site") provides free online digital IC design tools and related information. The tools are provided "as is," without any warranty of any kind, express or implied.
2. Use Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use the tools for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, attack, or gain unauthorized access to the Site
- Use automated tools for mass requests without explicit permission
- Use tool outputs in safety-critical applications (e.g., medical devices, aviation systems) without independent professional verification
3. Intellectual Property
The Site's code, design, and written content (excluding user inputs and tool outputs) are owned by the Site or licensed under open-source licenses.
Content you generate using the tools (e.g., SDC files, Memory Map tables) belongs to you.
4. Disclaimer of Liability
ALL TOOLS AND INFORMATION ON THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED FOR REFERENCE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THE SITE AND ITS OWNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE TOOLS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Chip design errors or tape-out failures
- Project delays or business losses
- Data loss or equipment damage
- Any loss resulting from reliance on tool outputs
Users MUST independently verify all tool outputsthrough professional EDA tools or other means before using them in production.
5. Service Availability
The Site does not guarantee continuous availability. Services may be suspended or terminated for maintenance, upgrades, or other reasons without prior notice.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms take effect upon posting on this page. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall first be resolved through amicable negotiation; if unresolved, they shall be submitted to the competent court.
